I do not operate as a general training facility. Each horse accepted into the program is carefully selected to ensure the best outcome for both horse and owner

  • Designed for well-bred prospects intended for performance careers, this program focuses on creating confident, responsive and forward young horses who will finish ready to transition into a specialized training program.

    45days - $2500

  • A comprehensive start for young horses needing a correct, consistent foundation to become safe, reliable and enjoyable riding partners.

    4 month min. - $1600/mth

  • Available exclusively to horses developed within the program, this phase builds on an established foundation to introduce refinement, exposure and discipline-specific direction.


    60 days + $1500/mth

Training includes:

Training

  • 5-6 days a week - 1-2 hour sessions.

  • Roundpen, and hauled to Elk Point Riding Arena - indoor/outdoor

  • Exposure to outside miles in field/trails.

Boarding:

  • Semi private: horses start out in a private pen until settled and then generally they are placed with similar age/gender/temperament horses.

  • Blankets are required. Blanket rental available if needed.

  • Horse safe fencing (metal, post and rail, square horse fence and electric rope). Dry lot pens with pasture turn out in electric rope.

  • Free choice high quality hay (hay analysis done annually with adjustments made to balance nutrition), fed in bale feeders with net.

  • Free choice fresh potable water from the town of Elk Point.

  • Free choice redmond rock salt.

  • 1.5lbs of AlfaTec alfalfa cubes soaked and fed daily along with additional supplements (salt, mineral, soybean meal, magnesium, zinc/copper, vitamin e) +/- any additional supplements as seen fit.

Horse Care:

Blanket rental (rain or winter) $50/mth

Farrier every 6 weeks - $60 trim $200 front shoes

Dental work - including wolf teeth removal(x2) and hauling - $350 can be arranged as needed if not done prior to training
